Apologies are in order. You haven’t heard from me directly here for a few weeks. Or maybe that’s your preference. Outside of producing and creating the show, I haven’t had much free time to devote to you, the Stacking Dingers faithful. Even outside of the communication here, I haven’t had much time to reply to your YouTube comments or (more importantly) update the Stacking Dinger rankings. As you can see in the comment below, Steve Johnson is a tough but fair observer of our tendencies. Ouch!
Even now, I’m not really sure when I’ll have time to go in and do a much-needed update of the rankings.
BUT! Hopefully, the position-by-position breakdown has been helpful for you to come to your own conclusions and set your own rankings.
When you last heard from me, EZ (he strictly has forbidden me from using his government name despite slipping up in the show) had joined Billy and me for the first part of the infielder show. Here he is again for the back half of that position.
Moving on to the outfielder shows, we had a long-time fantasy baseball player of all formats, but a brand new guest to Stacking Dingers joined us. Spencer was excellent, so we asked him back for the second half of the outfielder shows, and Nez filled the other seat.
Finally, we kicked off pitcher week with this first episode, in which Brendan Tuma, the head of MLB info at Underdog and a Baseball America contributor, and I discussed the first 11 rounds of pitcher one by one. Stay tuned Friday for the second part.
If you need an audio version of any of these, remember that you can find them on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.
